A player category is a game-specific tag used to identify a group of players or apply a Player Category Restriction.

Examples can include:
  • Interstate;
  • Overseas;
  • Elite;
  • Legends;
  • Stars; or
  • another category defined for the fantasy game.
Player Category Restrictions
Where PCR is enabled, the game can limit how many players from the selected category a member may include in their fantasy team.
For example, a game may allow no more than a specified number of Interstate or Elite players.
The category limit works alongside other rules such as Team Size, Salary Cap, player positions and Players Per Team limits.
Who manages categories?
The Game Admin assigns and maintains player categories. A category belongs to the relevant fantasy game and may not apply to the same player in another game.
If a category appears incorrect, report the player and expected category to the Game Admin before the relevant lockout.
