How are player values and positions decided?

The Game Admin manages the game-specific player information used by members, subject to the selected service arrangement with MyClubtap.
Starting fantasy values
Starting values are set during game setup. The player pool must make it reasonably possible for members to build a valid fantasy team within the selected Team Size and Salary Cap.
Values are specific to the fantasy game and are not a universal player rating across MyClubtap.
Player positions
For a Position Based game, each player is assigned the position used by that game - for example, the relevant batting, bowling, all-round or wicketkeeping role in Cricket.
For a Position Free game, position-based minimum and maximum limits do not apply, although the player’s position may still be displayed for information.
Player categories
The organiser can also apply categories or tags such as Interstate, Overseas, Elite, Legends or Stars. These can be connected with Player Category Restrictions.
If a position, value, team or category appears incorrect, report the player and expected information to the Game Admin.
