Understand rounds, trades, trade windows and lockouts

Rounds group the fixtures that count toward a period of fantasy scoring. Trade windows control when you can change your team, while lockout prevents changes during the relevant playing period.
A trade window is the period when members can save eligible changes to their fantasy team.
Lockout is the period when affected team changes are not allowed because the relevant round or fixture is underway.
Before the game starts
You can make unlimited changes before the first game lockout. These changes do not reduce your trade balance.
After the game starts
A player change counts as a trade when the changed team is successfully saved. Browsing players or changing an unsaved selection does not complete a trade.
There is no minimum number of trades you must use in a Round. While the trade window is open, you can use as many of your remaining trades as the game rules allow.
Before lockout
While trading is open, you can make permitted team changes, subject to your remaining trades and all team-selection rules. Review the confirmation carefully before saving.
Cancel or reverse a trade
A saved trade can be reversed while the same trade window remains open. Once that window closes, trades completed during it cannot be reversed.
During lockout
When a round or fixture is locked, affected team changes cannot be made. A multi-day match may remain locked until the match is completed or the organiser finalises the applicable round process.
The app’s displayed lockout and trade-window times are authoritative for that game. Times are based on the game timezone configured by the organiser.
Trades
- Games can have a total trade allowance set by the organiser.
- A player change counts as a trade when the member saves the changed team.
- You do not have to use trades every round unless a specific game rule says otherwise.
- You do not have to use a minimum number of trades every round.
- Unused trades do not necessarily increase your future allowance.
- A Free Trade Round may allow changes without reducing the normal trade balance.
- A saved trade can be reversed while the same trade window remains open.
- Once that trade window ends, trades made during it cannot be reversed.
View past changes
Use Trade Log, Trade History or the equivalent game menu item to review completed changes.
If a round appears locked unexpectedly
- Check the round and fixture start times.
- Confirm the game timezone.
- Check whether a multi-day fixture is still in progress.
- Refresh the app and reopen the game.
- Contact the game organiser if the displayed schedule appears wrong.
