Audience: Members and Admins

Each fantasy round groups the fixtures that contribute to the same scoring period. The trade window controls when members can change their team, and lockout protects the team recorded for the playing period.

FOR MEMBERS

Before the round
  • Members can make permitted changes while Trade Window Open is shown. A trade is confirmed when the changed team is saved.
When play starts
  • At the configured lockout, affected team changes are stopped. The game may display Game In-Progress while connected fixtures are being played or scored.
  • For a two-day or multi-day match, lockout can remain in place until the full fixture is completed.
Score updates
  • Player performances are entered or managed after official information becomes available. Fantasy points and rankings update after that information is processed.
  • Scores can remain provisional until all fixtures assigned to the round have been completed and reviewed.
After the round
  • The round result becomes available after the required scores are finalised. The next trade window opens according to the game’s Rounds & Trade Windows schedule.
  • An approved correction to a completed score can recalculate Round Points and rankings.

FOR ADMINS

Score Updates & Lockout Period:

  • Scores for all matches played by your teams are to be updated during the lockout period of the game each Round (before the end of the current lockout period);
  • Once the game admin has entered the scores and confirmed the required appropriate match status, all corresponding score updates continue to reflect on the game.

Lockout period is the time while a game is in locked mode, whereby, no user can make any edit/updates to their fantasy teams.
Once a game has started, it continues to move forward with the match scores for matches played during the last weekend, being entered into the platform each Round to keep the fantasy game updated. Any players who are currently playing in 'Active' match (usually 2-day matches), would stay 'locked out' and not available for trades/selection.
If no scores updates are performed during the lockout period:

For 1-Day Fixtures:

  • Any Fixtures listed as 1-Day are expected to be played and end within a Round's Start/End Date timeline. Such fixtures are expected to be marked as 'Completed', before the Round ends (i.e. lockout period ends).
  • Any entered scores are calculated and updated immediately.
  • Any players found added in the squad for such fixtures are 'Unlocked' and become available to trades while the trading window is open.

For 2-Day Fixtures (for Cricket only):\

  • Any Fixtures listed as 2-Day are expected to be played over a longer duration and could Start within the lockout period of a Round, however, the fixture itself may end within the timeline of the next Round. Such Fixtures must be marked as 'In-Progress', before the lockout period ends.
  • Any players found added in the squad for such Fixtures are 'locked out' and cannot be traded while the trading window is open.
  • Scores for such Fixtures can be entered during the next lockout period, thereafter the scores for such matches are calculated and updated.

Scenario: A fantasy game is based on 5 senior teams, with 3 teams playing 2-day matches and 2 teams playing 1-day games. How does the score updates work for the fantasy game?
  • The game would have been divided into Rounds.
  • As a game has started, the scores for each Fixture included in the game are entered through the admin portal and updated during the lockout period.
  • The players found to be participating in 2-day games are locked out until there on-going match has been marked as completed, hence they are not available to be traded.
  • The players whose match have been marked as completed, will have their values updated and will become available for you to trade.
  • The players you have picked in your team who are locked out (lock icon) cannot be traded till their active fixture is marked as completed (as explained above).
  • For any player who is not locked, you can make your trades while the game is unlocked in-between Rounds.
