How do lockout and trading windows work?

A trade window is the period when members can save eligible changes to their fantasy team. Lockout prevents changes during the relevant playing period.
Before lockout
Members can review players and make permitted team changes while the trade window is open.
A change counts as a trade when the changed team is saved. Browsing or changing a selection without saving does not complete the trade.
Reversing a trade
A confirmed trade can be reversed while the same trade window remains open. Once that window closes, trades completed within it cannot be reverted.
During lockout
Affected team changes cannot be saved. A multi-day fixture may remain locked until the match is completed.
The game can use a full-round lockout or another supported fixture-based approach depending on its configuration.
Free Trade Round
Where enabled, a Free Trade Round allows eligible changes without reducing the normal trade balance. Check the game rules for how the resulting team carries into the next round.
Round & Trade Window Explanation
- The first lockout period applies on a fantasy game on the Start Date/Time of Round 1 of the game.

- The time period between the end of a Round and start of next Round, is when trades/team changes are allowed, i.e. Trading Window.
