When are new players added to a fantasy game?

The Game Admin manages the selectable player list, subject to the organisation’s service arrangement with MyClubtap.
New players should be added when they become eligible for the real competition and the organiser has enough information to create an accurate fantasy player record.
Information required
Depending on the game, the admin may need to confirm:
- player name;
- real team or club;
- selection position;
- starting fantasy value;
- player category or PCR tags; and
- other game-specific profile information.
Adding players after the game starts
A new player requires a fair starting value and correct mapping to teams and fixtures. The organiser should apply a consistent approach and explain any relevant eligibility rule to members.
Adding a player does not automatically place them into existing member fantasy teams. Members must follow the game’s normal team-selection and trade rules.
Members should report a missing eligible player to the Game Admin and include the player’s real team and supporting competition information.
