Join a Public or Private game in the MyClubtap app

Every MyClubtap game is set by its organiser as either Public or Private. A game may also require verification or organiser approval before you can enter.

Join a Public game

Sign in through the Cricket app or the relevant sport-specific web platform.
Open Comps, select My Hubs and find the organisation’s Fantasy Hub.
Open the Public game.
Select Join Game.
Complete any verification information requested.
If approval is automatic, you can continue when access is confirmed. If approval is manual, your request will show as Pending until an admin reviews it.

Public means a private entry code is not required. It does not necessarily mean that access is immediate or that verification is skipped.

Join a Private game

Obtain the invitation link, group code or individual code from the organiser.
If you use the invitation link, download MyClubtap from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Register through your preferred Fantasy Hub, or sign in if you already have an account. The hub selected during registration becomes your primary or default hub.
On the app Home screen, find the relevant game block and select Enter Code. There is no separate menu path for private-code entry.
Enter the code exactly as supplied.
Select Complete Entry and provide any verification information requested.
Submit the request.
Continue immediately if access is automatically approved, or wait while the request is **Pending** if manual approval is required.

A group code is one shared game code that anyone who receives it can use to join that Private game. An individual code is created or shared for a particular member and is intended only for that person. Codes do not have a scheduled expiry date. An individual code can no longer be used after its intended member has used it.

A code may fail if it is mistyped, already used where individual assignment applies, intended for another person or linked to a different game. In each of these cases, the app shows: Invalid code, please try again.

After you join

Once access is approved, open the game and create your fantasy team. Joining the game and successfully saving a valid team are separate steps.

If you cannot join

Confirm that you are signed in with the intended account.
Confirm that you are using the correct sport platform and game.
Re-enter the code without extra spaces.
Check whether your request is already Pending.
Ask the organiser whether entry is open and whether the code remains valid.
