Head-2-Head

Ability to run a Head-2-Head challenge based on the fantasy points scored in each Round by members of your fantasy game.

About

• A PRO feature available for free to all game admins.
• This feature can be activated to use in your fantasy game at any time.
• You can run one of the 2 types of H2H competitions, 'ALL' or 'GROUP' based H2H competition based on members of your game.
• You can create Playoffs series in both types of H2H competitions, or simply use the Overall Leaderboard to determine winners of your H2H Challenge.

Activate: Toggle Show/Hide Head-2-Head

• Enables 'Head-2-Head' menu item on Game Menu for members.

Choose Head-2-Head Type

• ALL
• GROUP

H2H Type 1: ALL

• One H2H competition, that includes all members in your game.
• There is only 1 overall leaderboard for the H2H competition.
• Playoffs has to be set on the basis of the top 6 team, whenever it is setup.
• Best for a small sized fantasy game (10-50 members).

H2H Type 2: GROUP

• Ability to create 2 Groups from all members in game.
• 2 different H2H competition run at the same time, based on the members in the relevant Group.
• There are 2 separate leaderboard for each Group's H2H competition.
• Playoffs has to be set on the basis of the top 3 teams from both Groups (whenever it is to be setup).
• Best for a bigger sized fantasy games (50+ members).

Head-2-Head Settings

• Win Points: Points allocated for winning a H2H
• Loss Points: Points allocated for losing a H2H
• Tie Points: Points allocated for a tied H2H

Reset All Head-2-Head

• Reset all settings by deleting the existing settings
• Once deleted, no restore of the previous settings is possible/available

Manage Head-2-Head

• You have provision to create generate and setup H2H based on Fantasy Rounds of the game.
• Member points from respective Rounds form the basis of H2H Challenge.

Button: Generate H2H

• Click on the 'Generate H2H' button for the Round that you would like to create the H2H battles for.
• Upon click, the battles between members (for that Round) are generated automatically.
• You can repeat Step 1 & 2 for all Rounds (as required).
• To re-generate the H2H list for the Round, you can click on 'Generate H2H' again (after having done so the first time).

Button: Mark as Complete

• After all Fixtures for a Round have been marked as 'Completed', come back to click on 'Mark as Complete' under Actions, to complete the H2H for that Round.
• Upon click of 'Mark as Complete', all results (Win/Loss/Tie) and data on the H2H Leaderboard is automatically calculated and finalised.

Button: Delete

• If you do not wish to run H2H for a certain Round and have accidentally generated the H2H battles for a Round, press on Delete to clear the data.
• This action is irreversible.

Button: Revert H2H

• You have the option to revert the H2H calculations after you have done 'Mark as Complete' on H2H for a certain Round.
• If you 'Revert H2H', all calculations from this H2H are reversed/cleared from the H2H Leaderboard.
• You can again 'Mark as Complete' the reverted Round.
• Example: You may need to do this if you have not completed score updates from all Fixtures in the Round.

Button: View H2H

• Shows you the list of battles created for the Round
• Shows you the points of both members in the battle
• Shows you the winner of the battle (once a H2H is 'Marled as Complete')

Head-2-Head - Playoffs

• You can create a Playoffs series for the H2H competition.
• Playoff series for H2H ALL and H2H GROUP types work differently.

Playoffs for H2H ALL

This Playoff series is based on the top 6 fantasy team managers on the H2H Leaderboard (ALL), whereby top 6 are picked from the H2H Leaderboard (ALL) to create the Playoff series.

• Ranked 1 & 2, directly go into Playoff 2, while Ranked 3, 4, 5, 6 go through Playoff 1.
• Winners of Playoff 1, proceed to play Rank 1 & 2 in Playoff 2.
• Winners of Playoff 2, proceed to play each other in Playoff 3.

An overview of Playoffs (in ALL Type H2H)

• Playoff 1 (= Eliminator)
• Match 1: Rank 3 vs Rank 6
• Match 2: Rank 4 vs Rank 5
• Playoff 2 (= Preliminary-Final)
• Match 3: Rank 1 vs Winner (Match 2)
• Match 4: Rank 2 vs Winner (Match 1)
• Playoff 3 (= Grand Final)
• Match 5: Winner (Match 3) v Winner (Match 4)

Playoffs for H2H GROUP

This Playoff series is based on the top 3 fantasy team managers on H2H Leaderboard of both GROUPS, whereby top 3 are pooled from the H2H Leaderboard of each GROUP to create the Playoff series.

Winners of both GROUPS, directly go into Playoff 2, while other 2 from each GROUP go through Playoff 1.

Winners of Playoff 1, proceed to play the GROUP winners in Playoff 2.

Winners of Playoff 2, proceed to play each other in Playoff 3.

An overview of Playoffs (in GROUP Type H2H)

• Playoff 1 (= Eliminator)
• Match 1: Rank 2 (Group 1) vs Rank 3 (Group 2)
• Match 2: Rank 3 (Group 1) vs Rank 2 (Group 2)
• Playoff 2 (= Preliminary-Final)
• Match 3: Rank 1 (Group 1) vs Winner (Match 2)
• Match 4: Rank 1 (Group 2) vs Winner (Match 1)
• Playoff 3 (= Grand Final)
• Match 5: Winner (Match 3) v Winner (Match 4)

If you wish to use Playoffs feature, you must setup the Rounds for the Playoffs as below.

Set Playoff 1

• Select Round (for Playoff 1).
• Playoff 1 calculations will be based on the performance of the fantasy team of the members in this Round.
• Press Save to confirm.

Set Playoff 2

• Select Round (for Playoff 2).
• Playoff 2 calculations will be based on the performance of the fantasy team of the members in this Round.
• Press Save to confirm.

Set Playoff 3 (Final)

• Select Round (for Playoff 3).
• Playoff 3 calculations will be based on the performance of the fantasy team of the members in this Round.
• Press Save to confirm.

Head-2-Head Leaderboard

• Admin overview of the H2H Leaderboard.
• For H2H ALL type setup, you will have access to 1 Leaderboard.
• For H2H GROUP type setup, you will have access to 2 Leaderboard (1 for each GROUP).

H2H Leaderboard (Table)

You have access to the following data on the H2H Leaderboard table:

• Manager Name
• Played
• Wins
• Losses
• Ties
• Win%
• Points For
• Points Against
• Point Difference
• Points

Key Points

• Points on H2H Leaderboard are calculated based on your setting on the Win/Loss/Tie Points set on H2H Settings.
• Point Difference is the difference between 'Points For' - 'Points Against'.
• In case of equal 'Points', member with lower 'Points Difference' is ranked higher on the H2H Leaderboard table.
