Player availability and match squads help members understand whether a player is expected to take part in an upcoming fixture. They do not change a completed player score by themselves.

Mark a player unavailable or inactive

Use the applicable player control when a player should not be presented as normally available for selection. Before changing the status, check whether the player is already selected in member teams or connected with completed fixtures.

An availability warning informs members; it does not automatically replace the player in a fantasy team or refund a trade.

Manage a fixture squad
Where Squad Alert is enabled, add the expected players to the relevant upcoming fixture squad. Members may then see a warning for players not included in that squad.
Complete the squad list before relying on the alert. If no players are added to a fixture while the feature is enabled, available players may be incorrectly presented as outside the expected squad.
Changes near lockout
Update availability and squad information as early as practical. The game’s lockout and trade rules still apply, even if late real-world team news is received.
Historical results

Do not deactivate, delete or remap a player as a shortcut for correcting an old score. Completed-score corrections must be reviewed through the proper scoring process.
